We like to make sure that all of our guests have made the right choice in choosing to stay with us, and that we will be a good fit for you and meet your expectations, so we add more information for you here to help you decide:
 

Are all the people in your party adults? as we do not allow children under 10 and as we have three friendly dogs of our own, we do not allow pets

We value peace tranquility, and respect for all our guests. If you are planning on having loud music or parties, we are not the place for you.

Most guests come here for a romantic retreat, to disconnect from the noise and the rat race, to enjoy the sights and sounds of mother nature, and to read, rest, and renew.
 

If you seek an off-the-beaten-path destination, with lots of nature and exciting outdoor adventures, then Uvita and our Costa Ballena is for you! We can assist you in choosing among the many local nature tours and adventures. 

There are no hoards of buses filled with tourists, no casinos, or all-you- can-eat buffet restaurants.

However, we do have many charming local cafes/ bars/ restaurants, banks, and grocery stores.

We are located right on the pristine Morete River which has several swimming holes and a waterfall a short hike up-river, or you can relax in our 50ft pool.

You are in a remote area of Costa Rica filled with amazing natural beauty, so shut off your electronic devices for a few hours.  take a hike, listen to the jungle sounds, or look up at the clear night sky filled with beautiful stars.
 

We have a unique riverside setting.  Beautiful casitas in lush gardens surrounded by jungle and a massive biological corridor.  We are also only a few minutes from several beaches including the largest marine park in Costa Rica Bellena Bahia National Park.
